Anti-Valentine’s Day Burn-Away Cake Class | Filigree Bakery

Not into Valentine’s Day? Want to burn away your ex? Join us at Filigree Bakery for a fun, hands-on burn-away cake class with an anti-Valentine’s twist. You’ll decorate your own cake and finish it with a burn-away topper that reveals a hidden message underneath.

Each student must email a photo one week before the class and choose one of the following phrases:

  • Fries before guys

  • I choose the bear

  • Chicks before dicks

  • Hoes before bros

  • Or submit your own custom phrase

We’ll walk you through everything step by step, so no experience is needed. Come with friends or come solo. Regardless, you’ll leave with a fully decorated cake and a good laugh.

No experience needed—just bring your creativity! All tools and materials are provided.

Class Details:
• Duration: 1.5-2 hours
• Focus: Buttercream piping, color mixing, and design techniques
• Includes: All tools, materials, and a shorty cake to take home
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Cost: $100 per student
→ A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your spot
→ The remaining 50% will be charged at the end of class

Class FAQ & Reminders:
• Dress Code: Please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a bit of frosting on. Aprons will be provided.
• Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for safety, as the class takes place in a commercial kitchen.
• Hair: Long hair should be tied back for hygiene and safety during the class.
• Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot. This deposit is nonrefundable, regardless of cancellation or no-show. The remaining 50% will be charged at the end of class.
• Liability: By enrolling in this class, you acknowledge that Filigree Bakery is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation.
